Mahindra has officially rolled out the 2025 version of its legendary Bolero, now with a 9-seater configuration. Known for its ruggedness, reliability, and low maintenance, the Bolero has been a favorite in rural and semi-urban areas for years. With this upgrade, it becomes even more practical for large families, taxi operators, and commercial users.

The new Bolero comes with enhanced safety features, better interiors, and improved mileage, all while keeping its tough, no-nonsense character intact. Let’s break down what’s new in this latest model.

Design & Exterior

The 2025 Bolero retains its boxy, muscular look but gets subtle styling upgrades. The front grille is now more aggressive, with a chrome finish, while the headlamps feature clear lens units for better visibility. The bumper has been redesigned for a sharper appearance.

From the side, the Bolero remains functional and spacious, with the third-row seats arranged in a side-facing layout to accommodate nine passengers. New decals and updated steel wheels add a slightly more modern touch.

Interior & Comfort

Inside, the cabin is simple yet durable, built to withstand rough use. The dashboard gets a dual-tone finish, and higher variants come with a digital instrument cluster. Seats are upholstered in tough fabric, easy to clean—ideal for commercial or rural use.

While the Bolero isn’t packed with luxury features, it offers the essentials:

  • Manual AC
  • Power steering
  • Front power windows
  • Remote locking (in top variants)
  • Basic music system

Engine & Performance

The 2025 Bolero continues with the trusted 1.5L mHawk diesel engine, now BS6-compliant. It delivers 75 bhp and 210 Nm torque, which is sufficient for daily hauling, even with a full load.

  • Transmission: 5-speed manual (no automatic option)
  • Mileage: 17.2 kmpl (claimed) – Expect 14-15 kmpl in real-world conditions
  • Fuel Tank: 60 litres (good for long trips)

The Bolero isn’t built for speed but for dependability and fuel efficiency, making it perfect for long-distance travel and rough terrains.

Ride & Handling

The Bolero’s ladder-frame chassis ensures a sturdy ride, even on bad roads. The suspension is tuned for heavy loads, making it ideal for village roads and highways alike.

  • Steering: Heavy but precise
  • Braking: ABS with EBD for better control
  • Ground Clearance: High, so no worries about potholes or uneven surfaces

Safety Features

Safety has been upgraded in the 2025 model:

  • Dual front airbags
  • ABS with EBD
  • Rear parking sensors
  • Strong body structure

While it lacks advanced tech like ADAS, the Bolero is now safer than ever for its segment.

Price & Variants

The 2025 Bolero 9-seater is available in three variants:

Variant Ex-Showroom Price
Base ₹9.35 lakh
Mid ₹9.95 lakh

The top variant adds features like remote locking, better seat upholstery, and a digital display.
